To uncover the UK's emerging talent, Spread Co is inviting undergraduate economics students to enter the Spread Co Ultimate Uni Trader 2014 competition. Students will compete against each other, trading real-world markets with virtual currency, for a chance to win a prestigious three-month paid internship at Spread Co’s London office next summer.
Applicants are required to complete an online application stating why they deserve to take part in the competition. Entrants will be judged on merit by the Head of Sales & Marketing, Shameer Sachdev and his team, who will take in to account the applicants' dedication, experience and suitability to the role, and will then choose ten finalists to compete for the prize. Shameer shares his excitement of the competition,

Applicants have until 23rd October to enter. Once chosen, over the course of a week, each contestant will trade with £25,000 of virtual money using Spread Co's online trading software. The student who makes the most virtual money will be named Spread Co Ultimate Uni Trader 2014. The intern will gain insight a successful and innovative multi-national company, as well as spread-betting, CFD trading and the financial industry as a whole. This experience will be invaluable for economics students and will be a great reflection of the quality of British universities' Economics programmes.
