• Open and fund an account with a minimum of £200 with Spread Co and place 4 opening non-equity trades* within the first 14 days of opening an account (the ‘qualifying period’) to qualify. At the end of the qualifying period, if you have made a net loss, this loss will be refunded up to £200. At the end of the qualifying period, if you think you have made a net loss, simply contact their Client Services Team at cs@spreadco.com to claim your refund mentioning www.independentinvestor.co.uk
• If you have any open positions, these will be netted off against your settled trades to calculate your net position. Open positions will be calculated from the midpoint of the spread at 11.59pm on the 14th day.
• At the end of the qualifying period, if you think you have made a net loss, you must contact our Client Services Team at cs@spreadco.com to claim your refund. Once we have verified your claim, your account will be credited within 2 working days.
• Any refund made to your account may not be withdrawn for 3 months after it is credited to your account, or until you turn over your refund amount in non-equity trades stakes, whichever is first. For example, if your refund is £200, you can only withdraw it once you have placed £200 in opening trading stakes, say 20 trades at £10 a point or 40 trades at £5 a point and so on. Only opening trades count, opening and closing a trade for £10 a point counts as £10 in stakes and not £20.
• Please be aware that you may lose more than £200 and that this offer only covers losses up to £200. We recommend you use stop losses to protect your position.
• This offer is limited to new customers of Spread Co who are aged 18 or over only and resident in the United Kingdom, and to one account per applicant, per household or family. It is not open to anyone in the same household or family as an existing client. It is also not open to any group or syndicate of customers, including where Spread Co reasonably believes there to be evidence of cooperation, collusion and/or organisation of trades/bets from the same source.
• This offer is only eligible to qualifying clients and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer and is subject acceptance of you as a client and to a fair use policy. Any abuse of this offer may result in the offer being withheld. You must operate the account at all times in accordance with Spread Co’s normal Terms of Business.
• To the fullest extent that may be excluded by law, Spread Co accepts no responsibility for or liability arising from your taking part in this promotion and all activities are undertaken at your own risk. Spread Co is the sole arbiter of this promotion and reserves the right to alter, amend or withdraw the offer at any time without prior notice. In the event of any dispute, Spread Co’s decision is final.
  * A non-equity trade means a trade on any underlying product other than those based on individual equities and includes indices, foreign exchange, commodities and bullion.
